this will probably be a movie that i will rent sometime in the future {mainly because films like this never come to our local theatre}. the trailer is obvious: a relationship sprouts between paul dano and zooey daschnel- but at the same time, a bit mysterious: dano, a young, single, straight guy, is adopting a baby? what the hell? ...why? i am compelled to see this movie basically to see the wonderful john goodman for the first time in years {animation, shopaholic, and speedracer don't count}, and to figure out this baby mystery.

odds of me seeing this movie are very slim based off of this trailer. i am tired of the inspiring-true story-rise-up-from-poverty genre. i do like the idea of the entire neighborhood standing together and protesting, but nothing about the trailer really made me want to see this movie.
i'm sorry paul dano, it doesn't look like this is your year to shine. you still are an excellent actor, and by now everyone has forgotten about the girl next door.
